We are located North
West of Roxby Downs in a 140mm rainfall zone. The property
including the out station, Millers Creek, covers 7000
square km either side of the Dog Fence.
Billa Kalina Station has been in the family for almost
70 years. We are a progressive modern business that
retains strong family values. Our well bred quiet cattle
and sheep are grown in a naturally organic environment.
The 4000 head of beef cattle are predominantly the
Shorthorn breed. They are chosen for their maternal
qualities, temperament and marbling ability.
The 1500 head of sheep are Dorper/Damara cross aiming
to be mainly Dorper. They are hardy, very fertile and
produce a good prime lamb.
The country is our children’s future thus we
closely monitor stock numbers and seasonal conditions
in order to preserve it.
